Why a blend and not 100% alpaca? A toe sock asks a lot of a fibre — it has to shape around ten separate toes, hold that shape, wick sweat and survive real mileage. Alpaca brings the softness, warmth and moisture control; nylon adds the strength and abrasion resistance toes demand; acrylic keeps it soft and holds its shape; and spandex and elastic give the precise stretch that keeps every sleeve snug. Incredible socks!! SOFTEST socks I have ever owned. Super comfortable. Warm yet breathable... cool in heat warm in cold. My first pair of 'toe socks' and I LOVE them! Absolutely the best socks I have tried, and I have been using smartwool socks almost exclusively for years now. My wife loves them too, we're stocking up! (Pun intended).

Amazing socks, they are so soft and comfortable actually wore a pair for two days and they were still fresh and soft on my feet. They do tend to pill a little bit, but that is to be expected due to the high content of alpaca fleece. I did just put them in my laundry bag and wash them normally with my other clothes. They turned out fine. I did not dry them in the dryer but I just hung them out. Did not shrink at all, but just careful when I wash them to be sure.
Love them, super comfortable and warm. On my feet all day, so done with wearing socks that feel like sandpaper and get holes within a couple months. Was wearing the crew socks and they are great and had been wearing them every day (rotating the 8) for the last few months and have no holes and hardly even signs of wear. Worth every cent. After reading all the reviews, my husband and I were convinced that this was going to be the best thing for our cold winter feet. We live NWNSW and although we could have supported local we also love visiting NZ and decided to show support to a small NZ business. We were not disappointed - warm but not thick and unable to get shoes/boots on. Husband has the longer ones, I have ankle. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase. I am buying my daughter a few pairs now I know how comfortable and warm they are.

I love my ankle socks. I wear walking shoes most of the time and don’t like socks going up my legs. Yes there’s a gap sometimes between trousers and shoes but because the socks keep my feet warm, my legs don’t get cold. Hint-they don’t stink anymore!

The socks are amazing. Very comfortable and soft. The order tracking was not good at all, it stayed as something like, shipper received the information" for a week and then they just showed up on my doorstep. I waited a few more days and the shipping status never changed, so I marked it as delivered. Glad I received them, because otherwise the tracking wouldn't have told either of us anything at all!

The best socks brand i have ever bought! Being made of exceptional alpaca wool these socks are divinely comfortable, well fitted & thus practical, as well as good quality and lo g lasting. This style reaches up your shins nicely, and keeping firm and well fitted stays in place throughout the day, and is not uncomfortable to leave so. Yes! We offer a 99-Day Try-On Guarantee. This means you have 99 days from the date of delivery to decide if they're right for you. You can try them on at home, but returns must be in original condition — we can't accept pairs that have had extended, multi-day wear. Please include your order number and name inside the return package so we can match it to your order.
